Immigration Evaluations

Immigration Evaluations

Are you filing for a petition or waiver for an immigration case? Has your immigration attorney suggested a psychological or clinical evaluation as part of filing your petition? If so, you’ve come to the right place! These types of evaluations are my specialty. You may have heard of cases where some petitions have been denied or need further proof. A clinical evaluation from an experienced immigration counselor can give you the best results you need.

I provide bilingual psychosocial evaluations for cases of Extreme Hardship (Waivers, Provisional Waivers, and Cancellation of Removal), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U-Visas, Competence, Asylum and Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions. I work collaboratively with the client’s attorney(s) to provide such immigration evaluations, which include in-depth assessment(s) related to the immigrant’s mental health deficits as they pertain to immigration.

Some common areas include: PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Parental Issues, Learning Disabilities and Cognitive Impairments. Immigration evaluations can be utilized in cases of political asylum, extreme hardship, or spousal abuse cases when psychological factors may be significant.

I have experience with the unique requirements of extreme hardship standards set forth by the USCIS.
